Private sector workers will be able to chase promotions or shift jobs through an online platform the government plans to open this year.
The platform will let private sector staff sign up directly to find better roles or move up the job ladder.
That should also free up positions for new jobseekers waiting to enter the workforce.
Meanwhile, another government plan is on the way — a dedicated training platform, due to arrive in 2026.
Through this, private training firms can list their courses directly online, matching their offerings with those looking for work.
State budget In its detailed breakdown of the upcoming state budget, the government said special marketing teams will be formed over the next two years.
Their job will be feeding top-level vacancies into Bahrain’s national job bank. The government restated its annual targets clearly: hiring 25,000 Bahrainis and training another 15,000 each year.
Employment priorities within the budget remain steady — making Bahraini citizens the first choice for employers, retraining graduates to match real market demand, and ensuring stability within workplaces.
