Foreign Minister Meets US Deputy Special Envoy for the Middle East

Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met with Her Excellency Morgan Ortagus, the US Deputy Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East, at the White House. The meeting was attended by Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
Discussions focused on strengthening the longstanding Bahrain-US partnership and exploring new avenues for bilateral cooperation across various sectors. Both sides also exchanged views on regional developments, addressing ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and their impact on regional security and stability.
The talks further covered international efforts to de-escalate tensions, foster peace, and promote diplomatic solutions to regional crises. Key issues of mutual concern on both regional and global fronts were also deliberated.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al Ansari, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Saeed Abdulkhaleq Saeed, Head of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector.
