Aim

The aim is to align educational and training outputs with the needs of the labour market for qualified national human resources.

He also highlighted the importance of enhancing the role of career guidance and counseling in supporting the choices of graduates and job seekers, and helping them integrate into professional life.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman stressed the need for educational and training institutions to keep pace with developments in the labour market and the emergence of new job patterns.

Job opportunities

The purpose of “Career Day” is to introduce students to the various job opportunities offered by private sector institutions, and to guide them in choosing the most suitable specialisations in the labour market.

Students and graduates have the opportunity to meet with HR representatives from the 51 institutions and companies participating from both the public and private sectors.

Additionally, they are introduced to the Ministry of Labour’s programs for employment, qualification, and training of citizens, provided in cooperation with the Labour Fund, Tamkeen, as part of the joint national efforts to meet the market’s needs with qualified Bahraini talents, and to ensure that the citizen remains the first choice in the labour market.
