HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Her Excellency Okai Asako, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the strength of the longstanding Bahrain-Japan relationship, noting the strategic partnership shared by the two nations across various sectors.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of advancing multisectoral collaboration between Bahrain and Japan and expanding opportunities for collaboration to serve the mutual interests of both nations.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister acknowledged the depth of bilateral ties, reflecting the shared commitment to strengthening relations.

During the meeting, regional and global developments, as well as issues of common interest, were discussed.

For her part, Ambassador HE Asako expressed her gratitude for His Royal Highness’s continued efforts to strengthen Bahrain-Japan relations and extended her best wishes for the Kingdom’s continued development and prosperity.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, also attended the meeting.
