‘Smile’ visits young cancer heroes

As part of its ongoing commitment to providing psychosocial support for children with cancer and their families in the Kingdom of Bahrain, volunteers from the “Smile” initiative, affiliated with the Future Society for Youth, conducted a heartfelt Eid Al-Fitr visit to the Abdullah Kanoo Pediatric Oncology Unit at Salmaniya Medical Complex.

The visit aimed to uplift the spirits of young patients and was marked by the distribution of Eid gifts, reflecting the initiative’s continued efforts to bring emotional and social support to children undergoing cancer treatment.

This annual visit, carried out in line with the initiative’s tradition during Eid, was made possible through the generous contribution of Mr. Mohsen Ali Dashti and a group of shareholders.

Gifts were presented to children admitted to the oncology unit, while those receiving treatment at home were invited to collect their gifts from the initiative’s headquarters, ensuring no child was left behind during the festive occasion.

Mr. Sabah Al Zayani, President of the Future Society for Youth, expressed his deep appreciation for the joy experienced by the children and their families during the visit.
