Praise for AI training initiative launch

Nawaf Al-Jishi, Chairman of The Bahrain Society of Private Training Institutes (BSPTI), has expressed his appreciation for the directive issued by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), to introduce a landmark national initiative aimed at equipping 50,000 Bahrainis with artificial intelligence (AI) skills by the year 2030.
Al-Jishi affirmed the readiness of Bahrain’s training institutes to play a proactive and substantial role in the realisation of this visionary initiative by delivering high-quality training to develop national talent in the field of AI.
He underscored the far-reaching impact of this major initiative, which was launched under the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman during the first quarterly meeting of Tamkeen’s Board of Directors for 2025, and also noted that the programme is poised to create high-value employment opportunities for more Bahraini nationals.
