HRH PM calls for concerted efforts

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa urged concerted efforts to focus on the nation-building and development process, while continuing interest in strengthening security and stability.

The Premier made the statements as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday Parliament Chairman Ahmed Al Mulla, Chairman of the Shura Council Ali Saleh Al Saleh, President of the Supreme Judicial Council Chancellor Salim bin Mohammed Al Kuwari, MPs, Shura Council members and senior state officials.

“The world is going through a critical economic and security situation, and Bahrain is no exception. This requires collective efforts to deal with them more effectively in line with the existing partnership among constitutional branches,” Prince Khalifa stated.

The Prime Minister stressed that citizen-oriented issues are given top priority in the government’s interest and have the biggest share in its present and future programmes and projects.

“We follow up on the citizens’ affairs by meetings directly with them or their representatives, or through what is posted on various mass media. We are keen on fulfilling their needs according to the available potentials and resources,” he said.

HRH Premier confirmed that the Bahraini society’s solidarity is a protective shield that fortifies the nation’s achievements and gains.

He asserted that the advancement of the Kingdom is a choice made by its people, who, the Premier said is more resolved and determined to continue the development and progress path despite challenges.
