HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister tours the BIC ahead of the qualifying session of the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today toured the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) ahead of the qualifying session for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the Kingdom’s continued success in hosting major international sports events, reflecting the tireless efforts of the national workforce. These efforts have positioned Bahrain as a hub for significant sporting competitions, particularly motorsports, in alignment with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH Prince Salman reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening motorsports and expanding investment opportunities within the growing sector.

During the visit, HRH Prince Salman toured the teams' pitlane and track, meeting with senior F1 officials, team managers, drivers, and event organisers. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was also briefed on preparations for the main F1 race.

His Royal Highness emphasised that Bahrain’s success in hosting and organizing international championships and prestigious events is testament to the dedicated efforts of Bahrain’s workforce, who contribute strongly across various fields.

HRH Prince Salman also extended his best wishes for the success of the BIC in hosting the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025 and wished all participating teams success in the race.
