Bahrain condemns deadly attacks on camps in Sudan

The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned and deeply denunciated the armed attacks targeting Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps near the city of Al Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, western Sudan.
The attacks resulted in the death and injury of a number of people, including children, women, and humanitarian workers, in a blatant violation of the principles of international humanitarian law.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the Kingdom’s firm position calling for the protection of civilians and civilian objects, and safeguarding health and humanitarian workers.
