iGA opens TTDP third batch registration

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), in partnership with the Ministry of Labour, has announced registration is now open for the third batch of the Technical Development Program (TTDP).

This national strategic initiative aims to train Bahraini university graduates in with IT related specializations who are actively seeking employment through on-job training.

The program also aims at equipping them with the necessary skills to join both the public and private sectors.

Registration for the program is open until May 30, 2025, through iGA’s corporate website: www.iga.gov.bh.

Participants

A total of 80 participants will be selected and trained over the course of one year.

This program is part of Bahrain’s efforts to support digital transformation and reinforce its position as a regional leader in ICT and innovation, in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

The 3rd edition of the Technical Development Program (TTDP) program reflects a continued commitment to the investment in the national talents development, particularly in technical fields and skilling Bahraini youth to become the first choice for employment.

Strategy

iGA’s Chief Executive, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, emphasized that the third batch of the program serves as a key pillar of the iGA’s strategy to drive digital transformation and enhance adaptability to rapid technological changes.

He affirmed the iGA’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge capacity building aligned with global technological trends, enabling participants to gain the skills required to thrive in the labor market across both public and private sectors.

Participants will undergo on-job training within the iGA’s technical different directorates, engaging directly in tasks related to their areas of specialization.
