HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Receives CEO of GFH Financial Group

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), received Hisham Al Rayes, CEO and Board Member of GFH Financial Group.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the sports and economic sectors, with an emphasis on supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of Bahrain’s sports landscape.

 Also present were HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice Presi1dent of GSA; HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of BOC; Dr. Abdulrahman Askar, CEO of GSA; and Faris Mustafa Al Kooheji, Secretary General of BOC.

HH Shaikh Khalid praised GFH for its vital contributions to Bahrain’s sports movement through sponsorship and its ongoing support for youth and community-oriented sports programmes. He stressed the importance of strategic partnerships with private sector leaders like GFH in driving sustainable sports development, aligning with Bahrain’s broader economic goals.

In response, Al Rayes expressed gratitude for HH Shaikh Khalid’s leadership in advancing the sports sector and reaffirmed GFH’s commitment to supporting national sports initiatives that align with the Kingdom’s development vision.
