Bahrain Bayan School Wraps Up Inaugural Tech Summit

Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Bahrain Bayan School successfully concluded the first edition of its Tech Summit, themed “Preserving Bahraini Identity in the Digital Age.”

The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee.

HH Shaikh Nasser emphasized that supporting quality educational initiatives is in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to invest in the potential of Bahraini youth. He praised the innovative student-led projects showcased during the summit, highlighting how technology can serve as a tool for preserving national identity and reinforcing Bahraini values in an increasingly digital world.

The summit was officially inaugurated by Dr. Shaikha May bint Sulaiman Al Otaibi, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Bahrain Bayan School. The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including panel discussions with thought leaders from both the public and private sectors, a technology exhibition, and student showcases in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, animation, and digital applications.

Dr. Shaikha May extended her gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser for his unwavering support of educational innovation, applauding the summit’s success in fostering collaboration between students, families, educators, and the broader community. She also acknowledged the valuable contributions of all participants and guest speakers, who enriched the dialogue with forward-thinking ideas on education in the digital era.
