RBAF conducts missile firing exercise
The Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF)'s Air Defence Wing has successfully carried out 100% precision missile firing drill at Maqatra range in Abu Dhabi, as part of joint military cooperation between the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s Armed Forces.
The live ammo drill reflects the level attained by the Wing's officers and personnel affirming the importance of more field experience, capacity to plan air defence operations, consolidate, coordinate and manage joint defence action.
Joint military exercises with the sisterly armed forces boost military efficiency, combat readiness, exchange of expertise and skills in all combat operations and logistic support on the battlefield. The missiles firing exercise in the United Arab Emirates reflects the close historic fraternal bonds between the two countries nurtured and consolidated by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Supreme Commander, and UAE President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
