Cabinet praises bilateral relations

The Cabinet emphasised the strength of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kyrgyz Republic, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
It noted the importance of the visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to Bahrain and its role in further enhancing bilateral relations.
The weekly session was chaired yesterday by the Deputy Prime Minister His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, at Gudaibiya Palace.
The Cabinet affirmed the importance of the Bahrain Smart Cities Summit 2025, recently inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister, and extended its congratulations to the winners for their contributions to advancing sustainable smart city development.
It commended the efforts of the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture in organising the event.
The Cabinet condemned and denounced the terrorist plots targeting the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming Bahrain’s unwavering support for Jordan and its legitimate measures to safeguard its security and stability.
The Cabinet then reviewed and approved several memorandums, including a memorandum submitted by the Minister of Interior on the technical compliance follow-up report for the comprehensive national assessment within the fifth round of evaluations from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF); and a memorandum submitted by the Minister of Finance and National Economy and the Minister of Industry and Commerce regarding the decision of the Permanent Committee for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade of GCC countries, to impose anti-dumping duties on a number of imports from GCC countries.
