In the presence of Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) hosted “Run for Autism” for the third consecutive year in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, Alia Centre for Early Intervention and Bahrain Road Runners Sports Club.
The event took place on Saturday, 19th April 2025, bringing together the local community in a powerful display of unity, compassion, and support for individuals with autism.
This year’s event welcomed over 500 participants, including children with autism, their families, caregivers, and members of the wider community who joined in support of autism awareness.
The inclusive programme featured a range of competitive races, timed runs, family-friendly walks, and an array of entertainment and educational resources designed to raise awareness about autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and support those affected by it.
