In brave hands
The Kingdom of Bahrain is fully capable of protecting its sovereignty and national security due to the country’s dedicated armed forces and loyal people, said Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
While attending the Isa Royal Military College’s ceremony to mark the 11th graduating class of officer cadets – the Alqadisya Brigade – and the 21st batch of candidate officers on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, here yesterday, Prince Salman said that Bahrain was committed to the region’s security and stability as part of its responsibility to uphold GCC, Arab and Islamic unity.
Praising the combat performance of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Prince Salman highlighted their significant contribution to the improvement of security within the region. HRH the Crown Prince also mentioned the success of the Isa Royal Military College’s training, which has consistently produced officers able to fulfil their duties and serve the Kingdom on all fronts.
Prince Salman further highlighted HM the King’s continued support to the College, and His Majesty’s recognition of its role in protecting the Kingdom’s stability and development.
Congratulating the commissioning officer cadets, Prince Salman noted their commitment in protecting the achievements of the Kingdom, which remains an integral component of supporting His Majesty’s programme of reform and sustainable development.
Prince Salman honoured the top achievers at the function.
Earlier, Prince Salman was welcomed by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander in Chief of the BDF; Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander; Lieutenant-General Yousif bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, Minister of Defence Affairs; and other officials.
