Support to culture projects emphasised
Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday commended the efforts exerted by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) to promote Bahrain’s culture and preserve the national heritage. HRH Premier also stressed the government’s keenness to support any work that places Bahrain on the cultural map, highlights its historical heritage and tourism products and promotes its culture.
Prince Khalifa was speaking in a meeting with the President of BACA, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa at Gudaibiya Palace. Shaikha Mai presented him with a collection of publications highlighting Bahrain’s cultural and heritage sites within the “Bahrain, Your Destination 2016” plan.
