Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry, Bangladesh Ministry sign MoU

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Bangladesh on Bilateral Consultation here yesterday. The MoU was signed between Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed  Al Khalifa and the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali. 

During a meeting in his office, Shaikh Khalid commended the constructive role played by the Bengali community in the development process of the Kingdom of Bahrain underscoring the due care and attention it enjoys as it represents a cornerstone in developing bilateral
ties. 

 He also lauded the advanced level of bilateral relations at all levels, based on strong ties binding the two countries and their people in light of the keenness of the two sides to move forward to new horizons within common endeavours to implement advanced tangible steps in developing bilateral relation. 

Mahmood Ali expressed his pleasure for visiting Bahrain to strengthen bilateral relations and voiced confidence that the upcoming period would witness further cooperation between the two countries to avail themselves of the opportunities mainly in economic and trade
fields. 

The two sides also discussed a number of issues.
