Crown Prince hails ties with Bangladesh
Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
Prince Salman praised the strategic ties between Bahrain and South Asian countries and affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain would continue to explore ways to further expand bilateral cooperation with Bangladesh.
Turning to regional affairs, HRH the Crown Prince noted that the recent establishment of the Saudi-led Islamic military alliance represented a significant milestone in strengthening efforts to stem the tide of violent extremism across the region.
HRH Prince Salman stressed that Bahrain was fully committed to supporting the role of the new alliance and that protecting the region’s stability and security remained a key priority.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa attended the meeting.
