His Excellency Sameer Bin Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), delivered a rousing call for unity, innovation, and resilience at the Bab Al Bahrain Forum 2025 yesterday, setting a bold vision for Bahrain’s future under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Addressing an audience of global and regional leaders, H.E. Nass emphasised the unprecedented transformations reshaping the world’s political, economic, and social landscapes. He warned that today’s shifting power blocs, trade tensions, and technological disruptions demand a strategic response anchored in foresight, cooperation, and sustainable development.

“In a time of complex and evolving challenges, we carry the responsibility to shape the future with unity and action,” H.E. Nass said, framing Bahrain’s role as both a bridge and a beacon for global commerce and innovation.

Drawing on Bahrain’s rich trading legacy, H.E. Nass stressed that the Kingdom, under the visionary leadership of His Royal Highness, is uniquely positioned to spearhead efforts to build resilient, inclusive, and sustainable supply chains. He hailed the Bab Al Bahrain Forum as a strategic initiative to renew global partnerships and strengthen economic cooperation across regions.

He also underlined the historic nature of the forum, noting that for the first time in modern memory, leading organisations such as the ILO, WTO, ICC, and the Gulf Cooperation Council General Secretariat had come together in Bahrain under the royal patronage, a milestone that signals Bahrain’s growing influence on the global stage.

Nass concluded with a firm pledge that the discussions initiated at the forum would not remain symbolic but would be translated into measurable, strategic outcomes, echoing HRH the Crown Prince’s call for action-oriented leadership.
