Bahrain to set up medical varsity in Pakistan

An agreement is expected to be signed soon between Pakistan and Bahrain for establishing a state-of-the-art medical university in the capital. The decision was made in a meeting between Ambassador of Bahrain Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdulqadir and Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar on Tuesday. 

The two jointly reviewed progress against an initiative to establish the medical university, according to a press release. The Bahraini diplomat discussed at length Pak-Bahrain collaboration in the health sector.

Tarar recalled the visit of the King of Bahrain to Pakistan, and his generous offer to build a state-of-the-art medical university in Islamabad. The minister stated in the release that the collaboration with her ministry will provide the best personnel in the field of medicine.
