4 teenagers injured in accident
Four teenagers were injured in a car accident in Hamad Town yesterday.
The speeding car driven by an 18-year-old teen rammed into the precast concrete before hitting a palm tree.
The vehicle flipped over several times in the impact of the crash. One of the injured passengers is said to have been admitted to the intensive care unit.
The passengers are between 12 and 15 years old, said eyewitnesses.
The accident caused heavy traffic snarls on the road. Later, traffic police personnel arrived at the scene and removed the vehicle.
