Capital Governor patronises National Day celebrations by BKS

Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa expressed his pride in the formation of diversity and multi-cultures in the Capital Governorate, stressing that embracing many foreign nationalities in Manama gives it richness and excellence for the Kingdom. 

He also praised the participation of foreign communities in the National Day celebrations, “through which they are expressing their love and loyalty to our homeland and wise leadership.”

Shaikh Hisham was speaking at the National Day and the 16th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne celebrations organised by the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) here recently

Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Undersecretary of International Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Defence and National Security Committee MP Abdulrahman Bu Majeed, representative of the organising committee Nasser Al Areedh along with a number of Ambassadors, residents and citizens participated in the celebrations.

Shaikh Hisham, who patronised the event, expressed his happiness for the club’s keenness to organise the celebration as it comes in the interest of those, who support it in order to open greater prospects and intersection with other people through their cultures and histories. 

He expressed his thanks to representatives of embassies and consulates, who attended the celebrations.

The BKS club presented models, cultural photographs of Kerala, India and cultural attires during the celebrations, which highlighted the cultural value of their country.
