Court adjourns hearing of terror cell case
The case of 26 persons accused in connection with forming a terrorist cell was adjourned until January 4.
Only 116 of the defendants are in police custody, as the remaining suspects are still at large and are being tried in absentia.
The Terror Crimes Prosecution said earlier the cell was responsible for a number of blasts aiming to disrupt public order.
It said in a statement that the defendants had been charged with establishing, organising and running an illegal group to prevent State institutions from exercising their work, and using terror as a mean to achieve their goals.
The cell was also accused of attempting to murder a policeman, training on using weapons and explosives, carrying out blasts, deliberate arson, damaging property, and possessing and using explosive materials.
It was also accused of possessing Molotov cocktails, holding unauthorised gatherings, rioting and hiding convicts.
