Chinese entrepreneurs high on optimism

Chinese businessmen stressed that with the right type of marketing, Dragon City can be a tremendous success by attracting visitors from all over the region and the world.

Dragon City includes more than 360 wholesale and retail stores. The Mall design is influenced by Chinese architectural and cultural aspects. Chinese entrepreneurs at Dragon City are optimistic about the success of the project but warned that hard work will be needed to make it a global success.

Chinese businessman Xue Hui, who manages a company that has six shops in Dragon City selling kitchenware, said that marketing efforts were vital for its success. “The concept is good, but it really depends on how they manage it. This may need a lot of advertising and good publicity as well,” he observed.

Sharing a similar view, Frank Sun said, “We don’t know what kind of future this will have, but we hope that this gets better and better. Many shops here are yet to open so we hope that when all the shops open this place can become much better.”

“We already have business in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. So we are excited to bring our business to Bahrain, where one can meet very good people. I hope that we will have a good future here. I believe that Dragon City will be a success here,” said Kristen Yu.
