Karranah Sewage Network 33 pc work completed
As much as 33 per cent of the sanitary project in Karranah is completed, Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry announced yesterday.
Sanitary Engineering Planning and Projects Director at the Ministry Asma Jassim confirmed in a statement that the work of the project at Block 460 in Karranah was ongoing and included 110 kilometres of main pipelines and 45 km of subsidiary pipelines.
Jassim also said the cost of the project is BD247, 935 and the tender was previously awarded to Arad Constructions.
The director affirmed the Ministry’s keenness on following up projects in the Kingdom to fulfil all the needs of citizens and residents of Bahrain.
She also conveyed the Ministry’s request to all the residents of the areas, where projects are being implemented to cooperate and follow the instructions and traffic diversions that the Ministry has introduced.
