Postal Stamp Exhibition inaugurated
Transportation and Telecommunication Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed inaugurated recently the 12th Postal Stamps Exhibition in the Contemporary Art Hall.
He stressed during the event, which was organised by Bahrain Philatelic Society, the ministry’s resolve to continue developing the postal sector for its key role in boosting comprehensive development. He also stressed the important part played by the issuance of new stamps in highlighting Bahrain’s development in all fields in the prosperous era of HM the King.
The Transportation and Telecommunication Minister listened to a detailed account by the exhibitors on the showcased items, stressing the need to boost awareness of the role of the postal stamp in depicting the kingdom’s history and heritage.
