Interior Minister launches hi-tech websites

Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa today launched new-look hi-tech websites, which were designed by the Information Technology and e-Creativity Directorate.

The minister was briefed about the websites of the General Directorate of Anti-corruption, and Economic and Electronic Security, General Directorate of Guards, Training School of the General Directorate of Guards, Criminal Investigation Directorate, General Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation, Public Security Officers Club, Watani Magazine, the Police Media Directorate.

The Ministry of Interior have so far launched twenty websites as part of efforts to facilitate services and enhance interaction with the public. Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa stressed the ministry's drive to continue implementing the development and modernization strategy and enhance community partnership to improve performance.

He hailed the efforts of the Information Technology and e-Creativity Directorate to enhance services provided to the public. He urged to monitor and study the comments of the users of those websites for comprehensive development. The public could visit the websites through their links on the MOI website www.interior.gov.bh
