‘Modernisation in BDF to continue’

Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the BDF would continue harnessing all capabilities to supply all its battalions and units with the latest modern weaponry, in compliance with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.

He was speaking during an inspection visit to a BDF unit, in the presence of the Chief of Staff Lt-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi yesterday.

He praised the results accomplished by   BDF battalions and units in all assigned missions, stating that through modernisation and development, the BDF will continue to boost its battalions. 

During the inspection, Shaikh Khalifa was briefed on the unit’s latest developments. He inspected its latest training and preparation programmes as well as its military preparedness and readiness posture.

He urged everyone to leave no stone unturned in serving the homeland, under the leadership of HM the King. Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah and a number of BDF officers were present.
