Bahrain’s uncompromising security, stability highlighted
Southern Governor Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, during meeting with a group of citizens at the Majlis of Ahmed Al-Amer in Isa Town, stressed that respect for the sovereignty of states can only be achieved by attaining national security and stability.
He welcomed the decision of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia on severing diplomatic ties with Iran, which stems from their resolve to maintain security in the region.
He noted Iran’s blatant interference in the internal affairs of Gulf countries, which is a violation of international and diplomatic norms.
He said that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, will remain fortified against vicious plots that target to destabilise the homeland.
He praised the efforts of the Bahraini security forces in foiling terrorist operations of the Iranian-backed terrorist groups.
The citizens who were present at the Majlis confirmed their full support for all measures taken by Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to counter the continuing violations.
