Jordanian delegation briefed on GPIC’s achievements

A Parliamentary delegation from Jordan, consisting of Jordanian parliamentary and Housing Committee Chairman MP Abdullah Obeidat, MP Abbas Al Madhi Head of the Services Committee and MP Osama Al Khaja, visited the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC).

Welcoming the delegation was GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery and members of the Executive Management along with the Deputy Chairman of the Company’s Labour Union and senior officials.

Dr Jawahery said he hoped the visit to GPIC would allow them an opportunity to look at operations at a successful model of GCC and Arab cooperation.

He also spoke about GPIC’s contribution towards the community and its support for various programmes.

 The visitors were briefed on the most important achievements of GPIC, the awards and accolades it had won both regionally and globally. 

MP Obeidat said the visit was a good opportunity to look closely at an industrial design, which gives the environment a lot of importance.
