Three face trial for consuming drugs
Prosecution witnesses will give evidence on February 17 in the trial of three Iranians, who have been captured for consuming illicit drugs.
The trio, including a cook, a manager and an employee were arrested following a tip-off to the anti-drugs department at the Ministry of Interior. It was revealed that one of them was in possession of opium that was ready to be sold nationwide.
He was arrested, and the other two Iranian men were later captured after investigations. Police seized cash and illicit drugs from them while raiding their homes.
The trio are standing trial before the High Criminal Court and they have entered not guilty plea.
