Workload on government hospitals reduced
A total of 234656 visits were made to the Bahrain Interior Ministry’s clinics, including the Health Centre at the Police Fort in 2015, said Assistant Undersecretary of Administration Affairs Colonel Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
This contributed in reducing the workloads on government hospitals.
He highlighted the dedication to implement the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister to develop social and health services to enhance the overall facilities provided to the personnel. He also highlighted the cooperation between the Bahrain Defence Force Hospital and Salmaniya Medical Complex.
He said that the health services at the ministry has started decades ago with a clinic inside the fort, while it has developed to the a department ( Health and Social Welfare Directorate). The Health Centre has also been developed over the years by expanding its headquarters and opening new specialized clinics.
