PM, Crown Prince review economic developments
Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
The two leaders reviewed the global economic developments and their impacts on the local market, as well as ways to deal with them.
They affirmed that Bahrain was looking forward to the contributions of all its citizens to the economic development march, calling for concerted efforts to develop the commercial sector so as to play its economic role.
The Premier and the Crown Prince praised the crucial role played by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), and its historical contributions to the trade movement and economic affairs in the Kingdom, stressing that the BCCI should continue playing its role and enhance it amid the current economic situation.
They affirmed that the trade and investment sectors in the Kingdom were progressing steadily thanks to the Kingdom’s modern and solid legal and legislative infrastructure that keeps pace with the various global changes.
