336,099 people entered Bahrain on January 7-13

The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 336,099 people had entered Bahrain on January 7-13.

He added 285,453 arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-member countries via King Fahad Causeway, 47,986 through Bahrain International Airport and 2,660 through ports.

The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
