Awan CC win by five wickets

Awan CC defeated Ritz Carlton by five wickets in the latest matches of the Sprite sponsored BCL-CBA Division Premier League T-20 Tournament at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Ritz Carlton were dismissed for 145 in 20 overs with the main scorers being Imran (42) and Zeeshan (27), while Ali (four for 25) and Faisal (four for 27) were the pick of the bowlers.

Awan CC then reached the target scoring 146 for five in 18.2 overs thanks to a fine knock by Yasir Nazir (52 off 36 deliveries) with good support from Faisal Shubbar (47 not out) which Farruk (three for 26) was the best of the bowlers.

In another match, Eagle Eye brushed aside Central Cafe by 59 runs after making an impresssive 158 for six thanks to Safdar (66) and Saqib (28) with Hidayath (two for 28) the best of the bowlers.

Central Café in reply were then bowled out for 99 with Faisal (29) the main scorer as Abbas (three for 12) and Akthar (two for seven) dominated the bowling.
