Askar meets top US sports official
Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar extended his keenness to further strengthen the committee partnership and cooperation with the United States Sports Academy (USSA) at all levels.
This was announced during Askar’s meeting with USSA president and CEO T.J. Rosandich at the committee premises in Seef.
Askar said the partnership established long ago with the academy in an attempt to promote the experience and abilities of Bahrain’s Sports Training and Development (BSTD) Centre to qualify sports officials in all areas.
Rosandich presented the programmes and courses, which the academy conducts in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE and other nations and introduced the latest activities that can be benefit the BOC in cooperation with the academy and expressed pride for the strong ties linking both organisations.
