Critics' Choice Awards' worst dressed !!!

Not everyone was a winner on Sunday's Critics' Choice Awards' blue carpet.

The awards show saw some of Hollywood's brightest stars shine on the red carpet, and while most of them lived up to the glamour of the event, more than a few of the talented attendees simply fell flat on the fashion front.

Among those were Jennifer Aniston, 46, who attended on the arm of her husband Justin Theroux in a powder blue silk Saint Laurent gown with a daring slit up the center showing off her toned pins.

Putting it all on display: Abbey Lee Kershaw, 28, was all crisscrossing strips, mesh and ruffles in this Balmain dress

A glaring shade: Carrie Coon, 34, of The Leftovers may have been a winner tonight, but didn't quite hit the mark with this canary yellow and white Rubin Singer number

However, the eternally youthful Friends star missed the mark with the fit of the gown, which had a long, uneven and puckered seam running down from the bust to the start of the slit.

Abbey Lee Kershaw, 28, showed off her thighs and bosom under crisscrossing mesh and fabric in an odd cutaway Balmain dress, with a nude under-layer that gave her a Barbie doll nude effect across her chest.

Zoe Kravitz may have hit the genetic jack pot as the daughter of Lisa Bonet and rocker Lenny Kravitz, but the 27-year-old actress looked like a member of an early 2000s girl group in her shiny spaghetti strapped pink top and bright orange pants over chrome sandals.

Also looking distinctly of a previous decade was January Jones, 38, in her baby blue Bionda Castana dress with a thigh-grazing slip underneath a geographic beaded print that was sewn on top of an already-embroidered material.

Former Homeland hunk Damian Lewis, 44, confused onlookers in an extra long suit jacket that fit slim on the actor right down past his knees - giving the appearance of a dress worn over trousers. As he posed for the cameras, he tucked his hands into a pair of horizontal pockets at the waistline that similarly made the lower half of the garment look like a skirt.

We don't know about you but we're excited that Hedi Slimane is doing a few more eveningwear pieces in his collections for Saint Laurent. His rock 'n' roll aesthetic is just what the red carpet needs.

In fact rock 'n' roll was ever so slightly grunge last night at the Critics' Choice Awards with Jennifer Aniston wearing a maxi slip dress in pale grey. This may be a delicate design but to us it's saying 'Courtney Love goes glam'.

We would have been tempted to style it with a pair of Dr Marten boots, smudged eyeliner, a tiara and an oversized chunky knit cardigan but we do like Jennifer's elegant take on the look.

And it's easier to recreate in the real world than you might think. Head to our edit below for more gorgeous grey gowns by Jarlo, Fame and Partners, Free People and Adrianna Papell.

Scream Queens actress Niecy Nash, 45, opted for some bright color in her pink gown that draped over the front and sides of her body - which didn't do her hourglass figure any favors.

Laura Haddock, 30, of Da Vinci's Demons stepped out in a bright lavender gown with a pair of pocket flaps attached to the waistline in her first red carpet appearance since having a baby in December with her husband, Hunger Games star, Sam Claflin.

The Leftovers star Carrie Coon, 34, was headache-inducing in her bright canary yellow Rubin Singer dress with asymmetrical white sections.

Fox Sports 1 sportscaster Charissa Thompson, 33, made a strange choice with an all nude colored jumpsuit complete with wide flares and a sort of cape draping down the side of her left leg.

Will Forte and Mel Rodriguez have kept up their strange half-shaved heads and beards - and in Will's case, eyebrows - that they debuted earlier this week. It's not clear yet why the pair chose to make a pact on sporting the look, which Mel even took out on the blue carpet.

Of course, no red carpet for a Hollywood event is complete with an entirely mesh outfit over underwear, and it seems actress Portia Doubleday, 27, was only happy to pick up the slack by making her entrance in a floral embroidered fishnet number over a pair of high-waisted black panties and a strapless black bra.

A lot on: Fox Sports 1 sportscaster Charissa Thompson, 33, went for the all-nude pantsuit option on the blue carpet

Also showing a bit of extra skin was actress Riley Keough, the 26-year-old granddaughter of Elvis Presley and cast member of Mad Max: Fury Road, who showed up in a black jumpsuit full of holes.

Another holey faux pas came from Andrea Navedo, 38, whose otherwise lovely bandage dress was marred by a series of small holes in the bust area that stretched over her ample assets.

While her new husband T.J. Miller is shining bright onstage as the host of this year's awards, Kate Gorney was drawing all the eyes on the blue carpet with her part mesh, part velvet blue gown, which featured see-through paneling over the front of the dress that came close to exposing her breasts in full.

Actress Tiziana Rocca was likely contending for worst dress of the evening in her pastel lavender mass of ruffles, which were all frayed at the edges. The dress not only had stray strings aplenty dragging across the ground, but she also paired the outfit with sets of dozens of stacked silver bracelets over both of her arms.
