Bahraini- Korean relation discussed

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Head of the National Committee for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah met Cho Chul-ho, Vice Chairman, Korea Speciality Chemical Industry Association in Seoul.

He said the meeting falls within the framework of best practices exchange in what pertains to the implementation of the agreement on Chemical Weapons Prohibition.

He added that Bahrain looks forward to reinforcing the existing cooperation prospects with Korea in all fields. On the sidelines of the meeting, the Undersecretary met Gimpo Airport Customs Director General Oh Byung-Hyun. 

Meeting with Dy Minister

Abdulla also met Kim Hong-Kyun, the Korean Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, during his official visit to Korea.

The two sides expressed their satisfaction with the progress of bilateral relations to advanced levels in various fields, confirming their keenness to further develop these ties.

The meeting also reviewed many regional and international issues of mutual interests.

The Undersecretary also met a number of officials from the Korean Foreign Ministry, headed by Kwon Hee-seog, Director-General for African and Middle Eastern Affairs, in preparation for the third round of political talks that are being held between Bahrain and Korea.
