Spartans go down to Awali Camel in T20

Awali Camel edged out Spartans by 10 runs in the latest matches of the BFC sponsored BCL-CBA Division Diamond League T20 Tournament at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Awali Camel scored 181 for five with Ahmed Ismail (73) and Ashwin (41) being the main scorers with Adnan (two for 33) the best of the bowlers.

In reply, Spartans were restricted to 171 for six despite fine efforts by Zeeshan (72) and Farhan (38) as Sanito (three for 17) emerged as the best of the bowlers.

In another match, Muharraq Eagles easily beat Union Group by 53 runs after making 180 for six thanks to Waseem (81) and Emran (57), while Rajesh (three for 25) returned the best bowling figures. Union Group were then bowled out for 127.
