Bahrain Airport, NOGA ink joint venture agreement
Bahrain Airport Company and NOGA holdings announced a new joint venture to facilitate the shifting of jet fuel tank from Arad. The joint venture will built and operate the new facility at Bahrain airport.
The new joint venture will float tenders for the construction of new facility, which is designed with the vision of serving all the future fuel requirement at the Bahrain airport.
For this purpose, the design plans five tanks in the facility and each tank will have a capacity of 10,000 cubic metres. The number of tanks will not be less than three. The cost of the entire project will depend on the response to the tenders that will be floated shortly.
The project will be completed within 24 months from the awarding of the contract after the tender. The announcement was made by the CEO of NOGA, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khaifa, and Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, CEO of Bahrain Airport Company.
The event was graced with the presence of Minister of Transportation and Telecommunication Kamal Ahmed and Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza.
