An eyewitness has described him a youngster but could not tell of his nationality.

According to an eyewitness, the vandal started smashing the side mirrors of the cars first. After a while, he started smashing the windshields. When he realised he was being watched, he ran away, the witness recounted, adding, “We hope we will get insurance for the damages, because the repairs will be quite expensive. Repairs for my car will cost over
BD300.”

Another victim, Sunil, said that the vandal also removed the vipers from cars to use as a tool to inflict damage on the cars.

“He had tools with him to smash the windshields. He also used the wipers to try and inflict some damage on the cars,” added Sunil.
