Farmers' Market 4th edition tomorrow
The 11th week of the 4th edition of the Farmers' Market will get underway on February 6 at 8:00 am with a new array of functions and induction programmes.
The Agriculture and Marine Resources Agency has called on people in Bahrain to get a taste of the recreational and promotional activities offered by the weekly event which will be held at Budaiya Park every Saturday until next April.
The market will be open from 8:00 a.m to midday and will bring together 35 Bahraini farmers to showcase their agricultural produce.
According to the most recent statistics, more than 500,000 visitors visited the third edition of the market last year.
The function is organised by the Agriculture and Marine Resources Agency in cooperation with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
