Bahraini-UAE solid ties stressed

Dubai Crown Prince Shaikh Himdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum arrived Bahrain yesterday. He stressed the solid ties between UAE and the Kingdom on the occasion.

Shaikh Himdan, who came to take part in His Majesty King Hamad Endurance Cup, was welcomed by HM the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Shaikh Nasser, who is also the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF),  briefed Shaikh Himdan on the preparations for the
most important championship in the endurance season as well as the arrangements made to ensure success of the race. 

He lauded outstanding fraternal relations between Bahrain and the UAE, underlining Bahrain’s welcoming of the Emirati horse riders’ participation in the championship under the captaincy of Shaikh Himdan.

SCYS First Deputy Chairman, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Al Khalidiya Stables Captain HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and BREEF President Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa were also present.
