CSB releases new updates for app
The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) has released new updates for its app ‘GovEmployee’.
CSB President Ahmed Al Zayed confirmed that the electronic services in the new update can be accessed not only by the government employees, but also those interested in following up developments on the civil service laws and regulations. The app serves more than 50,000 employees in the civil service sector, and the number of users who have downloaded the app reached 54,468 by the end of January 2016. The application design has also been changed.
CSB Management Information Director Amal Shaheen explained that the new update enables government employees to access the ‘in’ and ‘out’ attendance records and to follow up the time scheduled for departure besides the days of absence and delay. She added that the non-government sector employees can take advantage of the information provided by the app without logging on to it.
