Vandalism: Several minors arrested
Police have arrested several minors who reportedly stormed a school in the capital and burnt the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The General Director of Capital Governorate Police announced yesterday that the department received reports of a series of incidents of vandalism at Alaa Al Hadhrami Primary Boys School.
Police responded to the scene where they found damaged properties. The Investigation led to the arrest of several minors who told the police they had jumped over the fence of the school and vandalised the property.
The General Director said the Juvenile Public Prosecution was notified and the parents were summoned. Their case was referred to the Public Prosecutor in accordance with article 19 of the decree law 23 of 2013 of the amendment of law 17 of 1976.
The General Director stressed that parents are responsible for protecting their children from incitement and preventing them from engaging in illegal activities.
