Vandals block roads to school

Roads to an elementary school in the Capital Governorate have been blocked for the second time in two consecutive days, the Education Ministry stated yesterday.

“Terrorists have blocked the roads leading to Al Munther Ibn Sawa Elementary Boys’ School in Eker again, in a desperate attempt to prevent students and teachers from attending to the school,” the Ministry revealed in a statement.

It also clarified that the trees, waste and obstacles were immediately removed and the school day continued without any disruption.

The Ministry added that the school is considered among the newly established schools in the Kingdom with a cost of BD2.104 million. It said the school consists of 32 classrooms that serve 960 students.
