Interior Minister lauds RCO’s impact in society

Taking into account the great efforts by Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Minister of Interior Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said that the RCO had a humane and social role that eases the financial burden on needy families and represented the strong bond between the leadership and citizens.
In a meeting with the RCO Secretary-General and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Nasser Centre for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, the Minister hailed the role of the centre, established as per directives from HM the King.
He also mentioned the role of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Centre for supporting the centre’s goals of enhancing the skills of youngsters.
Al Sayed introduced to the Minister the Undersecretary of the UAE Education Ministry and the Managing Director of the Centre Abdulrahman Al Hamadi.
The Interior Minister said that the Interior Ministry (MoI) was looking forward to reinforcing community partnership to promote cooperation for a comprehensive training programme for inmates and detainees at the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre to integrate them into society.
Dr. Al Sayed expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Interior Minister for his dedication for the best of the nation. He highlighted the readiness of the centre to cooperate with the General Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation to promote community partnership.The meeting was also attended by the Interior Ministry’s Undersecretary Major-General Khalid Al Absi.
