Optical showroom robbed of goods worth BD15k
Manama : Authorities are investigating the theft of BD15000 worth of items from an optical showroom in Daih.
According to one of the employees, a group of unidentified men broke into the store after smashing the locks.
"There was no cash in the shop, as we always make sure to empty the cash register before we leave,” the employee said. “They stole around 300 valuable eyeglasses with a combined value of around BD15000 as well as computers,” the employee said.
The culprits have also stolen the CCTV camera in the shop with an intention to destroy visual evidence.
