Govt working for nation’s progress
Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday affirmed that the government would spare no effort to enhance the living standards of the people here and to maintain the costs of living despite current economic challenges. HRH the Prime Minister was speaking while receiving Royal Family members at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
Prince Khalifa also recalled the crucial patriotic role played by the forefathers of Bahrain and their contributions in the Kingdom’s progress and development, stressing that they set the example of dedication in the service of the nation for the successive generations. “We are proud that we are blessed with a glorious past that proves the rich history of our people,” the Premier said, adding that “the renaissance and progress boom currently witnessed by the Kingdom could not have been achieved without their dedication who had placed national interests above all priorities.”
HRH the Prime Minister asserted that preserving the hard-won national gains and achievements and optimising them require all social segments to join ranks and rally together behind the ultimate goal of achieving the nation’s development and progress.
“The rapidly-unfolding developments in the region should by no means distract us or affect our determination to achieve the best for our nation and people,” he stressed.
HRH Premier also reviewed the domestic and international issues on the occasion.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to deepen the values of communication and cohesion binding the members of the one family Bahraini society, affirming that security and stability are essential pre-requisites to preserve the national achievements in various fields.
